At B Walker & Co. and AW Heating, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of health & safety and to operating in an environmentally friendly way.
B Walker & Co. follows the Federation of Master Builders' Code of Practice: its requirements include ensuring that our working sites are safe and healthy environments at all times. B Walker & Co. is a member of the Safecontractor health & safety accreditation scheme. Many large organisations now use the third-party Safecontractor scheme as their primary means of selecting contractors. We also belong to the H&G Construction Safety Association - an independent non-profit making Health and Safety membership group serving Central England and Wales. Membership of the Association ensures that our health & safety procedures are monitored and improved through regular inspections, support, advice and training.
AW Heating is also a Gas Safe-registered business. Only Gas Safe-registered engineers are legally allowed to install gas appliances, boilers, hobs, ovens or fires in homes or workplaces. (The Gas Safe Register has now replaced Corgi gas registration.)
